Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the My Vision Box, Inc. website. The following Terms of service govern your use of this website. If you visit or purchase at myvisbox.com, you accept the conditions, so please read carefully.

Electronic Communications

When you visit our website or e-mail us, you are communicating with us electronically and are consenting to receive future communications from us electronically regarding your purchase or the response to a question because you have chosen to receive these notifications about your contact lens order. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by telephone, if you choose these options. You agree that all agreements, notices, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Prescriptions

You must have a valid prescription for contact lenses that is not expired.  You cannot use your glasses prescription for the purchase of Contact Lenses.  A valid Contact Lens prescription includes the patient's name, date of issue or exam, expiration date, brand name of the contact lenses, base curve and power; diameter is optional, the Doctor's signature must be on the prescription as well.  If you choose to upload your prescription then please make sure all of these parameters are clearly visible in the image.  You cannot purchase a brand that is not the brand on your prescription.  It is not allowed for you to modify the prescription in any way (change power, base curve, or brand) or the order will be considered void.

Payments

All of our payment calculations are based on twelve (12) payment cycles.  If you are purchasing a 6 month supply or an annual supply all costs are divided into twelve (12) payments.  Your first month is due upfront and will be followed by eleven (11) more equal payments on the same day each month for a total of twelve (12).  If you choose to go with our six (6) month payment plans, you also will be charged your first month upfront and that will be followed by five (5) more equal payments.  This will occur on the same day each month for a total six (6) payments.

Eyeglasses

Glasses can be returned for any reason within 14 (fourteen) days from delivery. After that time only a one time exchange will be honored. We will do a one time, no charge doctor’s prescription change within 1 year of the original PRESCRIPTION date.

Lenses come with a 1 year warranty. The warranty includes all manufactured defects in the lens that are above and beyond normal daily wear and tear. The customer will pay 50% of the original purchase price while My Vision Box, Inc. will pay for shipping from the customer as well as back again after the repair is done.

Some frames come with original manufacturer’s case and some no longer have cases available. However, every customer who does not receive a branded case will receive a My Vision Box branded eyeglass case. Also, a high quality cleaning cloth will be provides with every purchase.

Non-Prescription sunglasses can be returned within 21 days of delivery as long as the frame is in sell able condition when returned. A 40% restocking fee applies to non-resalable frames returned.

All eyeglass orders require an original prescription from a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to be uploaded or emailed to My Vision Box before the order will be processed.

Reselling Products Prohibited

You are absolutely prohibited from reselling any of the products you purchase from My Vision Box, Inc.

Ask A Doctor

The "Ask a Doctor" feature is for customers who have questions about their contact lenses, or any general eye-related issues. This information is supplied by a Licensed Optometrist. This is strictly professional opinion/advice, and health related advice provided through this website is not a substitute for medical care and/or a prescription. It is important that you do not make medical decisions without first consulting your personal physician or healthcare professional. The receipt of any questions you submit to "Ask a Doctor" does not create a professional relationship.

Cancellation Policy

If you choose to cancel your monthly payments before the full amount has been paid, the balance of the remaining payment will be automatically charged to your credit card and you will receive any remaining contact lenses owed to you. This is a payment plan, not a monthly subscription in which you receive product for every payment. If you already received the total amount of boxes you have ordered, and want to cancel, you will still owe your remaining payments that are due.

Return Policy

We do not accept returns. We only accept exchanges if your prescription has changed for medical reason or if your doctor changes your brand of contacts. Only closed boxes of contacts will be accepted for exchange. Once the box is open we can no longer take them back.

Shipping

All orders are shipped (free!) via USPS. Once prescriptions are verified by your Doctor, we will send out the next business day with 2-5 day shipping. Please note, verifications can take up to 72 business hours to be completed. Sending a digital copy of your contact lens prescription will speed up the process! Once your order is sent out, you will receive an email with a tracking number.
