Q: How does this work?
A: Here at My Vision Box, we deliver contact lenses for low, affordable monthly payments. Basically how it works is we take the total cost for your supply, let's say its $144 for a year supply of contacts, and we divide into 12 payments of $12 per month. It's as simple as that. Instead of paying up front for your supply, you're splitting it into monthly payments to make the payment process more manageable.
Q: Do I pay tax or shipping?
A: Nope! You'll never pay sales tax or standard shipping for your order. Those are free to you, always! If you want to upgrade to faster shipping, contact us after placing your order.
Q: What is the difference between the 6 month and 1 year plan?
A: We offer two different payment options: 6 monthly payments, or 12 monthly payments. The 6 month option is designed for those who do not wear their lenses full time, and would not need an annual supply. Depending on the number of boxes you order; the total cost is divided into 6 or 12 monthly payments, whichever is more convenient for you.
Q: When will I receive my contact lenses?
A: Once we receive your order, we then verify your prescription with your eye doctor. This process can take up to 72 business hours, depending on how quickly the doctor responds to our request. If you include a picture of your prescription with your order, your contact lenses will ship out within 24 business hours. We use USPS First Class shipping. You will receive your order within 2-7 business days after it ships. Of course there are exceptions; if you are wearing a lens that is considered a specialty lens we don't always have it in stock. You will be notified if there is any delay with your order. If you would like to pay for expedited shipping, please send us an e-mail as soon as you have placed your order.
Q: How many contact lenses will I receive? Will I receive contact lenses every month?
A: Depending on how many lenses you have ordered, you will receive a shipment every 2-3 months. We place each pair in a small box, and number them for your convenience. If you notice your first shipment does not include the amount you have ordered; you will receive another shipment before you run out!
Q: What if I want to cancel my order?
A: If you haven't received any product yet, please contact us right away if you would like to cancel. If you already have received your contacts, you will still be responsible for any remaining payments due to us. If we owe you any contact lenses, you will receive a final shipment of the lenses upon payment.
Q: Can I return my contact lenses?
A: Only if you have ordered the incorrect brand in error, and have not opened the boxes; we can exchange the contact lenses for the correct brand. We cannot return boxes to the manufacturer if they have been opened. If your doctor changes your prescription before you have received your entire supply, contact us right away and we will work with you to receive your updated prescription.
Q: Can I order contact lenses without a prescription?
A: No. We do not sell purely cosmetic lenses, as they are not approved by the FDA. All contact lenses have different base curve and diameter measurements that are unique to each individual. There is no "one size fits all" lens. You must see an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist an obtain a contact lens prescription before placing an order and have a valid prescription.
Q: What if my contact lens brand is not on the list?
A: If you don't see your brand on the list, reach out to our customer service team and we can create a custom plan for you within the same business day. Please do not order contacts different from the brand you are prescribed. We will not be able to fulfill your order.
